Can You Support Our Charity Night For Harley?

18 January 2022

The Bluebirds are appealing to the local community to support a charity night to be hosted at the Club in February to raise funds for a local youngster diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

11-year-old Harley Anderson, whose father Simon works at The Dunes Hotel Stadium on matchdays, was taken ill at the end of October and was subsequently diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia.

A Just Giving page was set up to help contribute to the costs of travelling and accommodation for the family during Harley’s period of treatment at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and we wanted to join the drive to raise funds.

As a result, we will be hosting a Charity Night in The Cross Bar on the evening of Saturday 12th February, after our home game against Stevenage and all fans are welcome to come along and join us.

We’re also appealing for help from local people and businesses in terms of any potential live entertainment on the night, provision of food for the event or the donation of any prizes for a raffle.

If you can support this Charity Night in whatever way – big or small – to help us ensure it’s a big success and raises a lot of money for Harley and his family then please get in touch.
