The Club’s Community Trust has partnered with BAE Systems and the PFA to launch a fantastic competition to unearth the ultimate Unsung Hero from within our local schools.
Nominations for the new award are open right now so it’s time to get thinking – is there someone at your school who consistently goes above and beyond, and deserves some recognition?
It could be a pupil, a teacher, a teaching assistant, a member of the catering staff, it’s entirely up to you but we want to hear your stories!
“We’re really grateful for the continued support of BAE Systems and the PFA,” explained Community Trust Manager, Craig Rutherford.
“That backing has helped us bring this competition to life and we’re really looking forward to hearing some of the great stories that are sent as part of the nominations.”
To nominate someone in your school all you have to do is email Craig on c.rutherford@barrowafc.com and describe the amazing things they do.
The overall winner of the Unsung Hero Award will scoop a Family Season Ticket for the rest of the 2021/22 campaign as well as a multi-activity sports bag for their school!
The deadline for nominations is Friday 4th February 2022.
