The Club is delighted to announce Nuffield Health as our new Health and Wellbeing Partner.
Nuffield are healthcare specialists who have been operating for over six decades and boast an industry-leading network of 37 hospitals, 114 fitness and wellbeing centres, medical centres and workplace wellbeing facilities.
The Bluebirds have now agreed an exciting partnership with the charity which will see our First Team players and staff given access to state-of-the-art facilities in Barrow to work on fitness, rehabilitation, and wellbeing.
“We’re really happy to be linking-up with such a prominent organisation within the area to help promote health and wellbeing within our squad,” explained Barrow’s General Manager, Alisha Henry.
“Mark Hetherington and Rob Graham have been working hard behind the scenes to get this deal over the line and it’s fantastic to see that come to fruition.
“Now we’ve announced it, we can work closely with Nuffield Health and to ensure our players and staff can benefit from their fantastic specialist facilities.”
The partnership will see Nuffield Health feature on perimeter boards at The Dunes Hotel Stadium, in our popular Matchday Programme and across our social media channels.
Plus, Bluebirds Season Ticket holders will benefit directly from the deal too with a massive 20% discount on memberships at Nuffield’s impressive facility in Hollywood Park.
“We are delighted to get this partnership up and running,” added Blayne Comerford, General Manager of Nuffield Health in Barrow.
“Seeing the players and staff from the Football Club around the gym is something we’re really looking forward to and we’re excited about working with them to optimise their wellbeing.
“Of course, we’re just as pleased that we’re able to offer a huge 20% discount on our membership to Season Ticket holders, who will be able to enjoy our state-of-the-art facilities, including gym equipment, 20-metre swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna room.
“At Nuffield Health, we’re driven by our purpose to build a healthier nation and, as a trading charity, we invest all of our income back into that goal, so we’re delighted to be working with the Club and reaching out into our local community.”
