Barrow have today secured the services of exciting Sheffield United midfielder Harrison Neal on a full season loan.
The Yorkshireman captained Sheffield United’s U23 side to a league title in the 20/21 season, raising a lot of heads in South Yorkshire.
His performances in the Bramall Lane youth setup saw him earn a loan move to National League North Kettering Town for the first part of the 21/22 campaign. After promptly galvanising The Poppies’ midfield, Sheffield United looked to loan him out in January to a higher league.
As such, Neal spent the latter half of the season on loan at Southend United, quickly impressing the Roots Hall faithful to become a fan favourite in his 22 appearances for the Essex side.
Harrison now joins Barrow and goes straight into tonight’s starting lineup against Witton Albion and will wear the 14 shirt this season.
