Can You Support Our 24-Hour Charity Match?

16 March 2022

Local fans and businesses are being given a unique opportunity to support the 24-Hour Charity Match which will take place at The Dunes Hotel Stadium in May.

The epic contest, which is raising money for St Mary’s Hospice and the upgrade of football facilities on Schneider Road, will see players from the Club’s Community Trust and Academy go head-to-head with the Barrow & District Junior League.

Kick-off will be at 3pm on Saturday 14th May and it is hoped that it can raise even more than the £8,000 gathered from the event when it was first held last summer.

Fans will be able to come along and watch on the day, but if you want to show your support in advance then organisers are offering a number of unique and affordable sponsorship opportunities.

Whether you can commit to sponsoring an individual player, becoming the official Match Ball Sponsor for the event, or you just fancy sampling some hospitality on the day, every penny will be gratefully received.

To make it as easy as possible to get involved, a Crowd Funder page has been set up meaning you can simply select the option that suits you best and do your bit to back two very worthwhile causes – and two sets of no doubt very tired players!
