Robbie Gotts was the big winner at The Bluebirds’ End of Season Awards Night as the midfield star scooped both the Players’ and Fans’ Player of the Year accolades for 2021/22.

The 22-year-old, who joined Barrow from Leeds United at the end of August, has enjoyed a sparkling first season at The Dunes Hotel Stadium and produced a catalogue of eye-catching performances.

Gotts was the clear winner of the Fans’ Player of the Year award and also got the most votes from his teammates to land the hugely prestigious Players’ Player prize.

The talented midfielder also landed the BBC Radio Cumbria Player of the Year and the Bluebirds Trust Player of the Year gong.

Meanwhile, Ollie Banks won the Club’s 2021/22 Goal of the Season award for his stunning free kick during the astonishing FA Cup tie against Barnsley at Oakwell in January, while the skipper also won the National Supporters' Club's Player of the Year prize.

Frazer Stewart was unveiled as the Club Man of the Year for his extraordinary voluntary efforts behind the scenes, while Chris Altree received an award to thank him for his brilliant work as Supporter Liaison Officer for the past two seasons.

The End of Season Awards was hosted by Darren Herbert in The Cross Bar on Saturday evening in front of a packed crowd of Bluebirds fans, there to celebrate another season in the EFL.
