Robbie Gotts was the big winner on the night as the midfield star claimed both the Fans’ and the Players’ Player of the Year awards as well as the Bluebirds Trust and BBC Radio Cumbria trophies.
Ollie Banks’ rocket at Barnsley was voted as our Goal of the Season for 2021/22, while the skipper also took home the National Supporters’ Club Player of the Year accolade.
There was recognition for those who have excelled off the pitch too with Chairman Paul Hornby presenting the Club Person award to Frazer Stewart.
Outgoing Supporter Liaison Officer Chris Altree was given a prize for his contribution to the Club over the past two seasons, while Phil Brown surprised GMV stalwarts Alan Edwards, Peter Kellet and Mike Fieldhouse with the newly created Paul Jones Dedication Award in hospitality before the game.
