Barrow boss Pete Wild reflects on the 3-1 victory over Hartlepool United at the SO Legal Stadium.
Wild said he was obviously very pleased at the start Barrow made to the game, with Josh Gordon and Ben Whitfield both scoring in the opening 8 minutes before Billy Waters added a third just after the 20 minute mark.
It was quite the contrast to last Saturday, and the Bluebirds boss expressed his delight at how the lads learned from that game and implemented improvements right from the off.
"We had a long discussion in the changing room at 5pm last Saturday... and we decided we need to start better.
"To come out and add that ruthless edge to that start [this afternoon] was a fantastic way to start the game".
