The Bluebirds travel away to Tranmere on the opening day of the 2023/2024 Sky Bet League Two Season.
Pete Wild’s men endured a challenging pre-season where they faced the likes of Blackpool, Preston North End, and Newcastle U21s. The lads ran out victorious in five out of their seven pre-season outings, with Barrow rounding off pre-season with a 4-1 win against a young Newcastle side.
The only player we’ll be without this weekend is Mazeed Ogungbo who suffered a long-term injury against Preston North End last month.
The opposition
The Rovers have also had a challenging pre-season which has seen Ian Dawes’ side pick up one win and two draws in six games. They’ve faced a number of League One sides in pre-season, including Wigan Athletic Fleetwood Town, and Northampton Town.
