Pete Wild is excited for the challenge that in-form Stockport County will bring to the SO Legal Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Bluebirds were 1-0 winners over Bradford City at Valley Parade last time out, whilst Dave Challinor’s Stockport County stuck out a 2-1 victory at relegation battling Rochdale on Tuesday night, thanks to a duo of goals from Will Collar, the second marking the 150th goal County have netted under Challinor.
The Edgeley Park outfit are currently 4th in Sky Bet League Two and will be looking to extend their winning run to a 6th consecutive victory to overtake Carlisle United and slot into the automatic promotion places for the first time this season.
"We're expecting a team bang in form, full of League Two quality," said Wild.
"We're expecting a team that will really challenge and test us."
"We're gonna give it everything, play with freedom and see if we can cause some problems for them."
