Pete Wild is hoping his Barrow side can put some bad habits to rest when Rochdale come to town on Monday afternoon.
The Bluebirds boss said the players and staff have had a "real, good honest debate" when they reviewed the Tranmere Rovers defeat at training this weekend.
Wild praised the honesty and attitude of the group, and was pleased to discuss a few "frustrated and honest reflections" that were all "said from a good place".
As a result, he said the players have been working hard on the training ground to be tactically ready for Rochdale, a side that Wild says will present a tough challenge for Barrow at the SO Legal Stadium
"They've got goals in them, they haven't given up, they are full of enthusiasm and are still really pushing and fighting for their manager.
"We need to keep our shape, be disciplined and ensure we are tough to beat."
