Elliot Newby says that playing for his hometown team that he grew up watching means a little bit more to him.
This is Newby’s second spell with The Bluebirds, after first joining the Club back in under the management of Darren Edmondson in 2015.
The Barrow-born attacker featured 15 times in all competitions during the 2015/16 season for The Bluebirds and scored on his debut away at Grimsby Town.
Newby is now relishing the opportunity to be back at his hometown Club, and reunite with former boss Pete Wild.
