We are delighted to welcome Ethan Thatcher to the club in the role of Media manager.
Ethan joins us having most recently been with League One side Burton Albion. He will be looking to expand our media offering to provide a more comprehensive and wide-ranging use of both social media and website platforms.
Holding a bachelor's degree in Football Journalism, Ethan also has experience at non-league side Belper Town and a national newspaper as a freelance football reporter.
Speaking about his appointment he said:
“It’s a dream come true to join Barrow as media manager and I can’t wait to get started.
"Having recently finished university I’m full of enthusiasm for the role and I can’t wait to provide engaging and fun content for supporters to enjoy.
"I fully appreciate how important it is to keep the supporters informed of what goes on behind the scenes, particularly from the training ground on a more regular basis and I have lots of ideas to do that.
"I’m so excited to see where I can take this club in a media capacity because there is no doubt that the club is on the up and it’s a privilege to be tasked with showcasing that.”
Ethan started work on Monday and will be on hand at the training ground this week as the lads return to pre-season training.
