After the conclusion of the season on Monday, a busy summer of ground renovation work at The SO Legal Stadium will begin.
The Club is delighted to finally be able to share our plans for the additional seating to be installed at the SO Legal Stadium for the start of the 2023/24 season.
The schedule of work is in place with contractors GL Events and HBP Ltd, with support from Gadsden Consulting and Tape Design Ltd.
Our away end capactity will be increased to just under 1000 fans, thanks to the installation of 522 new covered seats in the North East corner of the stadium.
We will also be installing 371 covered seats on the West Terrace for the use of home supporters.
Finally, the 2023/24 campaign will see the Steelworks End back in use again, as 196 seats are to be installed in the summer.
These improvements will also include elevated wheelchair bays, as part of our commitment to improving facilities for all supporters at the SO Legal Stadium.
