After a thrilling 1-1 draw against Wrexham last weekend Barrow is looking to get back to winning ways as they travel to Harrogate Town later this afternoon.
Emile Acquah was the hero once more last Saturday as he scored a sensational goal to bring us level against the Welsh side. That strike was the new signing’s third goal of the season after he also bagged goals against Accrington Stanley and Sutton United.
The Bluebirds have now picked up eight points from their opening five games in League Two this season, beating Sutton and Tranmere Rovers, whilst drawing to Wrexham and Accrington and losing 1-0 to Stockport County.
Team news
We're still without Mazeed Ogungbo who continues to recover from his torn meniscus however, the young defender was back on the grass last week which is great news.
Ben Whitfield also continues to recover from an Achilles issue which hopefully shouldn’t keep him out for too much longer.
The opposition
Today’s hosts will be looking to reconcile from recent wounds after they were thrashed 8-0 by Blackburn Rovers in midweek.
On the League front Town's had a mixed start to the season after recording impressive victories against Doncaster Rovers and Morecambe. However, they’ve also lost on three occasions.
Head-to-head
Since returning to the Football League we are yet to win a game at EnviroVent Stadium, having lost all three times we have played there by a one-goal margin.
At home, we do have a better record against Harrogate having won one, drawn one, and lost one.
