Barrow AFC Forwards Ged Garner, Sam Bellis, and Courtney Duffus all left the Bluebirds on loan in the winter window. So, we thought it was time we give you an update on how the lads are getting on.
Starting with our youngest player out on loan, Bellis joined National League side Kidderminster Harriers on loan until the end of the season at the end of January.
When the 21-year-old joined the Harriers on loan, they were rock bottom of the division but since Bellis has joined they have picked up four wins in their previous four games, pushing them up to 22nd place, just one point from safety, and by all accounts Sam has put out some stellar performances for the Harriers.
Garner our next player out on loan, is with fellow League Two side Morecambe where he has started all three of their latest matches. In their most recent match, Garner was the hero after he bagged a brace against Crawley Town to secure a 2-1 win, the second of which was an incredible solo run in the dying stages of the game.
The final player currently out on loan is Duffus, who is with Hartlepool United. So far Duffus has made three starts but picked up a light knock so he is currently out of action for United who recently appointed former Sunderland Striker Kevin Phillips as their new Manager.
