Young defender Malakai Reeve has joined Blyth Spartans on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old joined the Bluebirds’ B Team in the summer having come through the ranks at Championship side Coventry City. So far, this season he has featured twice for the first team in the EFL Trophy, even managing to start the match away to Morecambe in October.
Reeve has already had a loan spell this season having spent 28 days with FC United Of Manchester in the Northern Premier League so this loan spell to Blyth will be a step up for the young defender.
Reeve will link up with the National League side until the end of their season on April 20th and then will return back to Barrow.
