Quigs Is BBCRC’s Star Man!

An award for our number nine!

Bluebirds forward Scott Quigley has been voted as BBC Radio Cumbria’s player of the season!

Each year our local radio station takes a vote from their commentators and co-commentators to decide who will receive their award.

This year in a tight contest Scott came out on top, with commentator Adam Johnson acknowledging that it was tough to pick just one player:

“After an extremely successful season it was a really hard task to select just one player for the award.

There are honorable mentions for Joel Dixon, Matty Platt, John Rooney and Brad Barry for their fantastic efforts this season, but in the end one player came out on top and we are delighted to announce Scott Quigley as our player of the season.

Finishing as the National Leagues top scorer with 20 goals, his performances weren’t just about the goals he scored but also the way he linked up with other players and also the fantastic camaraderie he has shown with supporters both home and away.”

Congratulations to Scott and thanks to BBC Radio Cumbria for all of their support and coverage over the 2019/20 season!

THANK YOU!

We thank EVERYONE WORKING TO KEEP US SAFE & well!
