Born in Wrexham, Jones came though the Academy system at Welsh side The New Saints and made eight senior appearances before leaving in the summer of 2017 and joining Altrincham.
The defender spent three seasons at Moss Lane, chipping in with 13 goals during his 115 appearances for the club before he made a move to Barrow in July 2020.
