Versatile youngster Joe Grayson became Mark Cooper’s seventh signing of the summer of 2021 when he signed a two-year deal following his departure from Blackburn Rovers.
The son of Fleetwood Town boss Simon, Grayson had been on the books at Ewood Park since he was just eight years old and made his professional debut for the Club in an EFL Cup tie against Lincoln City in 2018.
Most comfortable in midfield, the talented star can also play in the centre of defence or anywhere down the left flank so offers competition across a variety of roles in Cooper’s squad.
Grayson earned senior experience with a loan spell at Grimsby Town in 2019, before spending the second half of last season on loan in League One with Oxford United.
