Talented midfielder Robbie Gotts joined Barrow on deadline day at the end of August 2021, penning a two-year deal following his departure from Leeds United.
The youngster came through the ranks at Elland Road as a right-back before boss Marcelo Bielsa successfully converted him into a dynamic and athletic midfielder.
He was part of Leeds’ successful Under-23s side which won the PDL Northern League title in 2018/19 and went on to be crowned Professional Development League champions.
He made a First Team debut in an FA Cup tie at Arsenal in January 2020 but found opportunities limited, particularly following the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
Gotts spent time on loan at Lincoln City in the early part of 2020/21 before starring for Salford City in the second half of the campaign, during which he made 23 appearances for The Ammies.
