Guide For Families
Here at Barrow, we pride ourselves on being a friendly and inclusive Football Club and we welcome fans of all ages to The Progression Solicitors Stadium.
If you want to come along and enjoy the football as a family then we’re set-up to ensure you have a brilliant time in a safe and welcoming environment.
First off, it’s worth knowing that Under 7s can come to games at Barrow completely FREE – as long as they are accompanied by a full-paying adult – so if you have young children you’re off to a winning start!
It’s entirely up to you if you want to stand or sit – though if you have young children it may be a preferable option to take advantage of our seating.
Whilst there will be no cash turnstiles in operation on the day of the game, we do have a Ticket Office located near Main Reception which will be open from 1.30pm until kick-off.
Buying in advance is always advised to avoid disappointment and also the potential for queuing on matchday.
Take a look below at our options – and then click here to order your tickets online.
There is seating available in The Brian Arrowsmith Main Stand at a cost of £19 for adults, £15 for Over 65s or Students and £6 for Under 18s. And remember, Under 7s go FREE as long as they’re with a full-paying adult.
If you’d prefer to stand then you have some options.
The Holker Street End is behind one of the goals and has had a new roof put on it during the summer to ensure that the atmosphere is even better as we return to the EFL.
Otherwise, you can head to The Ray Wilkie Stand which runs alongside the pitch or The Steelworks End which is behind the opposite goal.
It won’t matter which area you choose in terms of price – standing tickets are £16 for adults, £13 for Over 65s and Students and £5 for Under 18s. And again, Under 7s are completely FREE with a full-paying adult.
We just know your family is going to love their day out at The Progression Solicitors Stadium but no trip is complete without a visit to our fantastic Club Shop which is packed with Bluebirds merchandise.
You’ll find the Club Shop behind Main Reception on Wilkie Road and it will be open from 12noon until kick-off on a Saturday matchday.
Food & Drink
There are catering outlets inside the ground in the Holker Street End which serves a selection of hot and cold food, as well as hot and cold drinks.
We are also fully-licenced to serve alcoholic drinks to away supporters so feel free to get in to the ground early and enjoy a pre-match pint.
All supporters are more than welcome to join us in The Cross Bar which is close to Main Reception on Wilkie Road and serves a great range of pre-match drinks.
We are really excited to launch an all-new Fan Zone during 2020/21 which will give supporters of all ages the opportunity to gather and enjoy the atmosphere ahead of kick-off.
The Club has a number of ideas and events to make sure the Fan Zone is the place to be before games – and, who knows, you might get to meet a player or even our mascot Bluey the Bluebird!
The stadium is only a short walk from the train station in town which is good news if you’re coming in to Barrow by rail.
However, if you’re driving then check out our comprehensive directions by clicking here now.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer official parking at the stadium due to limited capacity.
However, the Soccer Club – adjacent to Main Reception – offer spaces at a small cost on a first come first served basis on matchdays.
Our revamped Matchday Programme will be available around the ground so keep an eye out for sellers and make sure you pick up a copy while stocks last – there’ll be plenty inside to keep supporters (both young and old) entertained!
Programmes will also be available from The Ticket Office and Club Shop – but don’t worry if you don’t manage to get one on the day, simply head online and order one there (click here now)!
If you would like your child to be a mascot and walk out with the team for a game here at Barrow then we have a great package to give them a real day to remember!
Email us on firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested and we’ll get back to you with all the details!
