Ground Improvements
The Club invested heavily during the summers of 2020 and 2021 to improve facilities for fans visiting Holker Street, which has been home to Barrow since 1909.
Holker Street End
Chief among our redevelopment work during the summer of 2020 was the erection of a new roof to cover the popular Holker Street End which is behind one of the goals at the stadium. We also extended one side of the stand to install some seating for visiting supporters, who will also have a terraced area of the Holker Street End, which will be shared with home fans.
The Brian Arrowsmith Main Stand
This seating stand backs on to Wilkie Road and runs along one side of the pitch, boasting a capacity of just over 1,000 for home supporters.
In 2017 the Stand was renamed in honour of legendary former Barrow player and Manager, Brian Arrowsmith, who sadly passed away in April 2020.
The Ray Wilkie Stand
This part-covered terrace runs alongside the other side of the pitch at the SO Legal Stadium and is for home fans only. It is named in honour of Club legend Ray Wilkie.
The Steelworks End
This terrace runs behind the goal at one end of the ground and is also where The Cross Bar and Club offices are situated.
